Access Information

The performance takes place in several locations in Hackney Town Hall. You will walk from location to location and there are stairs between some of the locations. At some points in the show you will be required to stand but there will always be seats for those who require.

There are two wheelchair spaces available for each performance and our front-of-house team can assist you during your visit.

This is an immersive show in which you will experience George Orwell’s dystopian vision in an entirely new way. The performance takes place in several locations around Hackney Town Hall including its magnificent Council Chamber. You will follow the action from location to location.

This production includes depictions of torture and contains violence, loud noises, strobe and flashing lights.

How Does It Work

The venue is unable to accept latecomers who arrive more than 10 minutes after the performance begins. They do not offer refunds for any latecomers who are refused entry after 10 minutes.

Advised 14+.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Getting Here

By Train/Tube – Oyster Card Zone 2

Hackney Central has regular trains linking to the Tube with direct interchanges at Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line), Stratford (Central Line) and West Hampstead and Canada Water (Jubilee Line). Bethnal Green (Central Line) is a short bus ride away.

Hackney Downs is approx. 640m away with trains going into Liverpool Street.
