A very good play but as an Aussie found it very difficult to understand the dialog therefore detracting from the story and enjoyment.

  • Absolutely wonderful!

A great big rattle bag of a play, about the Ulster Troubles in 1982, showing how they gouged great bleeding lumps out of families and friendships. The piece, which is quite long, but I hardly noticed that, is brilliantly written and designed and the large cast is terrific, including the five or so children.(It must be exhausting to perform). It's hilarious, violent and profane, so if you don't like swearing, don't go, but you'd miss one of the best theatrical experiences of a lifetime. The matinee audience I was part of leapt to its feet at the end and cheered, something I've never seen before at a matinee and if I could afford it, I'd see it again. Wonderful

    7 April 2018

The most thought provoking production I have seen. So many layers and perspectives. So much tension and anticipation. Hilariously funny in places. Beautifully written, creative direction and incisively acted. Exceptional performances from all, but the children were noteworthy.
